Creamy Asian Salad Dressing

 




Asian-inspired salads are a great deal for diets. Many Asian vegetables are very low in calories and this creamy salad dressing with Asian flavorings complements them well

8 ounces (225 g) tofu
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
3 tablespoons (45 ml) balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons (28 ml) low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup (25 g) green onion, chopped
2 tablespoons (28 ml) lemon juice
1/4 cup (60 ml) water

Place tofu slices in a blender or a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Add remaining ingredients and only as much water as needed to make desired consistency. Process until smooth.
